30 Days of Thanks

Here we go again... me promising to keep up with the blog, and I probably won't finish.... remember... Ia am NOT a finisher. But, there is a thing going on in the blog world right now called "30 Days of Thanks." You post everyday for the month of November. My friend Kelly has been posting every day for over 300 days, which is just crazy to me, but I have enjoyed keeping up with her and her adorable girls all year. So, I am going to TRY to do the 30 days of Thanks thing. I am not totally sure how this is going to work since we will be in Walt Disney World for 8 of those days. I hope I can post from the hotel. If not, I will make up for it later.

Today, I am thankful that I have washed, dried, and put away every single piece of clothing in this house this weekend. Aaahh. Feels good to have a clean slate. It will also help with packing later. As I folded, I put all our clothes for WDW in separate laundry baskets so I won't be frantically washing again before our trip. I am hoping this helps out a lot. It's not a secret that I despise laundry. And instead of doing the smart thing of "do a little everyday" I tend to let it pile up until we all have nothing to wear. Or, I have even been known to just wash a small load of clothes that the kids and I will wear the next day and that is it! Isn't that terrible? I know, I'm sorry.

Here is my sweet, sweet baby, in one of his favorite spots. When all of our chairs are pushed under the table, they fit together to make a sort of platform. Noah loves to crawl around there and hide out! He always giggles when we find him!

And a funny Hope story. Have you seen the Manwich commercial where the little girl is dressed up like a manwhich and the boy is dressed up like corn? The boy is giving the girl a hard time saying she's not dressed as a vegetable, then she says that she has a full serving of vegetables in manwhich, and then she looks at corn boy and tells him he is a grain anyway. John was watching this earlier today and asked "Corn is grain?" And Hope quickly replied, "No, it's yellow!" You can tell she is being raised in the south where "Grain" and "Green" are pronounced the same!

You can do it! I love that feeling of having all of the laundry clean and put away. It is so brief, but so wonderful!

I am literally laughing out loud.Hope thinking "grain" is "green" will be one of those things that makes me laugh anytime I think of it.
