Halloween Sneak Peak

When you ask Hope what she wants to be for Halloween, she says "I want to be a tutu." She doesn't care what she is, she just wants to wear a tutu! Here is a sneak peak of her costume...

Texas State Fair, and another dollar in the therapy jar for Hope!

So, I really wanted to take Hope to the State Fair of Texas while we were still here. I wanted her to see Big Tex most of all, so I talked him up all day. But, when we got there, and he started talking with his big booming voice, this was the result...
I know, Jennifer, I need to add another dollar to her therapy jar!
It wasn't all bad, though. She loved the hands on farm experience.

She almost fell asleep on Daddy's shoulders

Big Tex aside, she had a great time.

Catching up

I am a little behind on updating pictures of Hope, so here is an attempt to catch up...

Hope loves this little doggy at the Old Navy we shop at...

Here are some pictures from what was probably our last trip to Six Flags as Texans. We have enjoyed our passes this year.

We had to change outfits after the sprinklers...

Baby Game

Ok, it's that time again. Guess the baby's stats before we know anything. I would like to remind everyone that I did win Hope's game last time! http://www.expectnet.com/games/hopessib . If you need to know the game name, it is "hopessib"

It's a Gummy Bear, It's a monkey, no...IT'S A BABY!!!

I know, I know, it looks like John! Haha. It's not a great picture, but it's the only one I got today. It looked alot more like a baby on the monitor. I am 9 weeks today. Everything looked good!

The baby has been called both a Gummy Bear and a monkey today. When the technician found the baby on the screen, she said "awww, it looks like a Gummy Bear." My baby looks like a Gummy Bear?
Then, I emailed John later about the baby's heart rate. It is apparently very fast (a little on the too fast side.) So I emailed John that the old wives tale is that babies with fast heart rates are girls, so at 191 bpm, according to the tale, is a girl. He emailed me back that he had done some research of his own and that he found that the average heart rate for monkeys is 192 bpm, so I must be carrying a monkey and not a baby. Only John would research the average heart rate of a monkey in an effort to be funny.
