One Year Check Up

Here are the stats:

29 1/4 inches long

18 inch head circumference

19 pounds 12 ounces!

He is officially 3 pounds heavier than Hope was at this age, but it still only puts him in the 10th percentile.

And, yes, we did get shots, including "THE" shot. The most controversial one, the MMR. I love our doctor. She is a mom, she thinks like a mom, and she is a doctor. And, by now, she has become my friend. She has a baby that is 3 months older than Noah. We always talk about what she would and wouldn't do for her baby. After discussing it at length, Noah got the shot. She absolutely never pushes me. She gives me the facts, she gives me her opinion, but also encourages me to do what I feel is right for Noah.(And in case you need an up to date on Jill vs. vaccines... Noah had some reactions to his early shots. We stopped vaccinating for a short time while we did some research. We spaced some shots out, but Noah is now completely caught up. He has done well, and I feel like the path we took was the right one for Noah.)
