Last of Vegas Pictures

So, I was by myself in Vegas a lot because John was in meetings most of the time, so I have a lot of cheesy tourist pictures. Mostly from our hotel, because I was afraid to venture out with my big camera (our little one is broken :-( ) If you have ever been to the Venetian, you know it is just so cool. It feels like you are outside, and there is a stream with gondolas going by. There are also a ton of designer shops which were so fun just to look around in.

Here are some from the outside...
On our last night, John's team (and luckily spouses too) took a party bus around the city to see Las Vegas. We went to the Fabulous Las Vegas sign, up and down the strip, the Bellagio fountains, the Treasure Island Sirens, and old Las Vegas. The last stop was at a club at the Mirage called Jet. It was really fun seeing a huge line of people waiting to get in, and we got escorted right in. At this point though, Jill became the "party pooper" and John and I left and walked back to the hotel.

When we landed in Little Rock, we had to say hi to our friend Jeanne. She is a stand up cut out person at the Little Rock Airport. We took pictures with Jeanne when we left on our honeymoon for Cancun in 2002, and found her to be hilarious for some reason. We have to go searching for her now each time we go to the airport (they move her around!) We were happy to find her waiting for us by baggage claim this time.
While we were in fabulous Las Vegas, the fabulous Mimi stayed at our house with the babies. It was very hard for me to leave them, but once I left, I didn't worry about them any more. I missed them, but as my mom says, it was the nicest kind of miss! Thanks for watching them Mimi. I know it's not easy getting up with Noah at night! I felt a lot better knowing you were there with them. We love you!
