It's been a long week

Is it Friday yet?

It hasn't been a bad week, just a long one. (Noah might say it's been a bad week!)

Noah came in second in the Baby Face contest at http://www.ontheroadtosomethinggreat.blogspot.com/. "Team Noah" did their best, but Baby Gavin ended up with the win. These two dominated the contest though! There were 22 THOUSAND votes, Noah ended up with a little over 45% of the vote and Gavin with a little over 50%. It was a hard fought battle. We have no doubt that Noah is still the cutest, but Gavin is a cutie too, and he seems to have a team willing to stop working during working hours to drive up the votes! Team Noah was a late night team. It was fun, but we are glad it has come to an end! Thank you for all of your votes! Noah still wins a photo session from Amy Kelton and a portrait. He won't be used for advertising, even though I like the suggestion that Amy put a picture of both Noah and Gavin wearing boxing gloves in the advertisement! It was for sure a Battle of the Babies!

Noah had his 4 month check up yesterday. Here are his stats:
12 lbs 14 oz (25%)
26 inches (75%)
head circumference-16 in (50%)
So, all in all, he is still long and scrawny!
This is where the week really took a turn. Noah started running a little fever yesterday evening. At 2 a.m. he woke up with a 102 degree fever, and started a non stop vomiting marathon. He continued vomiting every 30 minutes to 1 hr until around 10 a.m. We made it into the Dr. where it was determined to be viral (not related to his immunizations.) We are to watch him for dehydration, of course, but just let it run its course. Hope never vomited as a baby, so this is all new to me. It is really pretty scary to see that much vomit from my little baby. I have been affectionately calling him "The Vomit Machine" today. Sorry if this is too much talk about vomit, but this is my life, folks.
Hope missed gymnastics this week due to meetings on Wednesday and The Vomit Machine today (I had rescheduled her lesson for today.) I am hoping she will just forget that we missed, but knowing her this is very likely to be the topic before going to bed tonight!
Ah, just talking about going to bed sounds great. It's only 6:30 now though, so I am pretty sure it's a little too early. I am in my pjs though.
